# Working rules

Use sub-agents when they isolate context or allow independent tasks to run in parallel. Work directly on simple edits, sequential steps, and tasks that require one shared context.

## Model routing

- `fable`: architecture, ambiguous strategy, hard bugs, and final review
- `opus`: complex implementation, multi-file builds, and refactors
- `sonnet`: simple edits, tests, documentation, technical SEO, and commits
- `haiku`: quick research, inventories, and summaries
- Pass `model` on every Agent call

## Delegation

- Plan before delegating
- The main agent owns the plan, final decisions, and integration
- Run only genuinely independent tasks in parallel
- Do not delegate parallel changes that touch the same files or system
- Inspect the actual files, references, and screenshots when the decision depends on them
- Use reports to summarize isolated work, not to replace essential source material
